Y62 Patrol DASH 40mm Lifted Rear TOW Coil - Spec#2

Don't be that guy (or gal) pulling into the camp with the van on the back and the rear of your Y62 sitting low. This will cause premature tyre wear and an unsafe towing experience. DASH 40mm lifted height TOW coils Spec #2 were designed in-house for superior performance when weight is added to the rear of the car and or tow ball. With less wraps in the coil, comfort is maintained when unladen but gives a greater spring rate when loaded up.

Fitted in conjunction with Airbagman JUMBO airbags, up to 350kg can be added to the ball weight and maintain the intended height. See below for application-predicted outcomes. 

DASH Spec #2 lifted coil fitted suitable applications;

• Y62 Patrol with no weight in car, predicted eyebrow height = 595. With 350kg on the ball and 50PSI in bags = 580mm
• Y62 Patrol with 150kg on rear (ie, drawers or rear bar or LRA), predicted eyebrow height is 580. With 350kg on the ball and 50PSI in Bags = 565mm

DASH Spec #2 lifted coil fitted NOT suitable application;

• Y62 Patrol with 300kg on rear (ie, drawers + rear bar), predicted eyebrow height is 565, With 350kg on the ball and 50PSI in Bags = 550mm.

*Eyebrow height is measured from centre of wheel hub to guard. Note, standard eyebrow height is 530mm
*Camber correction with either replacement bushes or billet rear arms (or both) is required when rear eyebrow height exceeds 570mm.
*On day one of installation the car will sit higher however once the vehicle has towed for the first time the springs will set giving intended lift depending on what weight is in the car. A wheel alignment should be completed upon installation and again once springs have set.
